Summary
This project, built by RyugaXL, is loosely based on a build featured in famous YouTuber Mumbo Jumbo's series, HermitCraft Season 6. The build aims to be a peaceful, beautiful place for dome-living. "Who wants to live outside when you can be protected by a giant glass dome." - RyugaXL
RyugaXL had to halt construction in mid-2019, because building above 128 m requires a player to have exceeded either 100 hours played or +19 reputation. Construction restarted on December 13th, 2019, when he logged over 100 hours.
Building construction finished on December 18th, 2019. This marked the end of the main construction phase of the structure. Future plans are in the works to create a BiomeSphere within the glass sphere. With other projects in the works, the total completion of the BioSphere may have to wait.
Construction
Description
Two 100 block wide rings encase a 80 block wide sphere made of glass. Planned construction includes lighting, BiomeSphere, and an ease of access point.
