Liberantem is the town formerly known as just the UFP capital. Liberantem is also home of the UFP and houses the capital building and some minor departments.
Origin
The birth of Liberantem was on May 29th, 2017. STL_Ninja17 cleared out a hill to build the capital building for the UFP, the location picked by former UFP vice president Terilyn. It took less than 2 days to build the capital building. All construction was done by STL_Ninja17 and many resources were used in the construction. The building was completed with the addition of the UFP flag a day later. This created the birthplace of freedom that we call Liberantem.
Architecture
Liberantem was made with stone exteriors and wood interiors. The UFP currently plans on making newer buildings look "less dull" and are working on new ideas for buildings. The federal court house is planned to be made with a quartz exterior as well as quartz pillars. The UFP Department of Salami was created by Slime_tiger and is made of salami.
History
April 2017: Liberantem was just a bunch of hills in region of the Southwest 1 hub.
May 2017: Terilyn picks the site for Liberantem. With the creation of the United Flarentian Powers, she shows STL_Ninja17, who in turn starts construction of the capital.
The interior was quickly filled with the exception of the bottom floor which had a lot of unused space.
August 2017: After months of sitting vacant, the UFP gets back on its legs, and the area becomes active once more. The need for meeting ingame is removed, as Discord makes it easier to communicate between members. New laws are no longer made with physical copies as it is easier online. September 2017: The department of foreign affairs is built.
November 2017: Slime_tiger creates the Department of Salami. New departments are planned. Federal court is planned. Name is officially changed from UFP capital to Liberantem.
April 2021: connected to South West (light blue) 1, Southwest Haven, and Ryujin Castle via highway. New contributors, such as CheesieMC, have built houses in the metro area leading to an increased population.
Notable buildings
The UFP capital building, The Foreign Relations Department, The UFP Harbor, The FJIA agency, The UFP Military command, The first UFP federal court house, The Department of Salami. CheesieMC's 3rd Home and Mario Project as well as his blue vodka pool lie on the outskirts of the town. Snakyman's Wonderful sign placed on the hilltop beside the capital building has a nice encouraging message for the town's inhabitants, thanks for the contribution Snaky!
