Moved to a discussion piece as it does not apply to being informational about Noelle but a discussion of ideological conflicts

"Noelle was built under the assumption that any and all griefs reported would be fixed to the best of the intervening staff member's ability. It has become clear that I am wrong in this assumption. Recently, an admin refused to fix my cactus tower or even to refund the items involved, (https://vgy.me/KwaRU3) saying "<14mRh4X0r> I'm not going to help restore something that's bound to get griefed". Almost immediately said admin, was backed up by another admin who tries to make it sound better with " <darkdiplomat> s/bound/designed/". Finally, I tried asking a third admin, and the response I got was "SnappyMuppetman - No its not [an admin's duty to fix griefs]. Admins duty is to the server, I.e. fixing bugs, And monitoring logs, If they choose not to repair something then there is a valid reason for it" (Screenshot here https://vgy.me/zl1yyX). One might claim the above reasons to be "valid", if not for the fact this server is a free build server AND this lovely structure nearby (https://vgy.me/JPBwq9). that fits both "reasons" AND has been repaired numerous times in the past due to grief. As a result of this enlightenment, I can no longer stand by this server and welcome new players to a place where their builds may or may not be fixed depending on whether the staff member intervening likes your build. All this being said, anyone and everyone is more than welcome to use this town for it's original purpose. The permission's board still stands." - JZTech101

"Sidenote: A fourth admin decided to intervene with this: "<techkid6> Add to that, even if we DID get someone griefing it, you would end up letting them go."" -JZTech101 — Preceding unsigned comment added by darkdiplomat (talkcontribs) 23:21, 12 April 2016 (UTC)

No, I wouldn't. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JZTech101 (talkcontribs) 18:19, 8 May 2016 (UTC)
An admin's duty is certainly not to fix whatever you see fit to build on the server. They have absolute veto, and power to demolish anything they see fit on either aesthetic grounds, or any other grounds at all. You're lucky they don't demolish your built-to-be-ugly griefbait rubbish which is a blight on the landscape in any case - if I saw something like that, I would remove it instantly. -Riot 20:10, 26 July 2016 (UTC)
