The Valentine's Day Massacre
On Valentine's day, 2012, 
monk30lol thought it would be a good idea to call for all the minecraft online residents online at the time to arrive at spawn for a spawn party so all the singles could mingle. To begin with, it was just monk then 3 more people arrived; soon many others arrived and some of the mods and admins spawned pigs and saddles and started to ride the pigs next to the great Spawn Cactus. To satiate the staff's lust for carnage, an army of pigs were spawned; they were then mostly turned into pigmen but ghasts were spawned to replace them. 
GirlvsCreeper fought bravely against the tide of cuboid antagonists, yet the overwhelming force won out. At one point 
gabzwithabz had an army of pigmen chasing him, monk and a few others such as 
vinztheprince took shelter in the visitor centre since the ghasts were bombarding the area. Eventually the ghasts were beaten, but gabz kept leading the pigmen around including right into monk. In the ensuing chaos, monk left to his house to write this wiki page on the days events.
