What is the Astral Fracture event?

The Astral Fracture was the third event in the Flippeh Fam saga. Consumed by a desire for vengeance after the defeat of  EnderLordFlippeh almost three years prior during the events of the Endsurrection,  Astral_Monarch_Flippeh (also known as  MonarchFlippeh) devised a plan to remove Freedonians and their builds from The End dimension for once and for all. A keen manipulator,  Astral_Monarch_Flippeh planted the knowledge of Astral Crystals and their mesmerizing properties into the minds of countless Freedonians, luring them into going great lengths to craft these newly-discovered crystals and place them in their builds, under the misguided belief that it would bring them great power and fortune. Little did they know, however, that these crystals actually held the power to summon terrifyingly powerful Astral Dragons, prepared to vanquish any Freedonian who dared to be so hubristic as to defy the wishes of the Flippeh Fam. It has been rumoured, however, that each time one of these dragons is defeated, space will fracture and gradually populate Freedonia's darkest dimension with the end gateways that were once mysteriously missing...

Commands and mechanics

• /dragon query can be used to see if a dragon is currently available to battle.
  • The cooldown was originally four hours, but was then changed to a random amount of time between seven and nine hours.
• /dragon summon will bring a dragon to a nearby Astral Crystal.
  • Astral Dragons can not be lured to areas too close to the central end or an end gateway. Use /dragon summon to see if a location is suitable.
• Upon defeat of an Astral Dragon, space will fracture and an end gateway will form leading back to the central end.
• After an Astral Dragon is defeated, one of the present players must run /dragon claim to give everyone nearby a chance to obtain collectible participation rewards.

*Like other dragons, the Astral Dragon will always drop an elytra, but it has a chance of being Astral Dragon Wings. A regular Dragon Head will also always drop like other non-Ender dragons.
