Charlietown
Founded by the MCO player charliepeee in , Charlietown is a town built by the people, a haven for players old and new to come and live and build as a collective. Our goal is to create an environment where players can freely unleash their creativity and make friends along the way, and we encourage collaborative building. Improvements
RobotReaction's vision for Charlietown is to create a haven for new players, where there will be convienient access to resources and food and players can learn to appreciate the way of life at MCO.
These works involve improving infrastructure links between Charlietown and spawn, creating plots for people to move in and unleash their creative abilities and improving the agricultural aspects of the city to make food an easy resource to come by.

Planned projects
Charlietown Town Hall: The first place where new Charlians will go upon arrival. Will feature many areas, including a room containing the name of every player to live in Charlietown.
SmelterCo: A public service that provides an incredibly powerful super smelter, which will be able to process large amounts of ores efficiently. They will also sell tools and general mining equipment for as little as possible.

How do you get there?
Due to the massive distance Charlietown is away from spawn, and the lack of nexus support, many players originally found the journey to Charlietown incredibly long. Now however, thanks to recent transportation developments, there is two ways players can reach the town.
Nether Highway (Faster)
1) After you have read and understood the MCO rules, type /warp Vizima in chat. This will warp you to Vizima, the city that has both a portal connection to Charlietown and is easily accesible from the command mentioned earlier.
2) Head to the nether portal. The coordinates for the portal are -5534, 63, 9897.
3) You should then be transported to the Vizima Nether Base Camp. Head to the 'easy exit' at the nether coordinates -680, 66, 1221.
4) Follow the signposted directions to reach the Charlietown Nether Station.
5) Head through the portal at -910, 64, 1416, and you should reach the town.
Overworld Highway
1) After you have read and understood the MCO rules, go to spawn using /spawn if you are not there already and head up the stairs made from 4 different colours of wood which are right of the visitor's centre.
2) You should then see a tour pad and a nexus pad. Stand on the nexus pad, and you will be teleported to the central nexus.
3) When you arrive at the nexus, step onto the platform with a green pathway leading to it.
4) You should then enter the next station. Search for the pad with a sign saying 'Acacia Roads' and step on it.
5) One more teleport! Find the block with Acacia Roads written by it, it should be the closest one on your right.
6) Walk out of the sandstone temple, and make a left. You should see a pathway lined with torches, follow this path and there will be signs to guide you as you do so. You should arrive at the town in 5-10 minutes.
Recent Buildings
Charlietown Sand Mine: Find at 3248, 64, 13858, use nexus to get to Sand City and then naviagte to coords.
Current Permissions
Citizens can:
Build anywhere they please around the town centre, alluding to the serverwide rule of being able to build anywhere.
Edit pathways to link their homes to the rest of the town
Add signs to any public notice board to advertise, question or alert others.
Morph terrain that may already by hand-positioned in order to have a flat build plane.
Communication
Charlietown now has a Discord server.
