The Idea
IconPippi was browsing YouTube when they stumbled upon the video "NOBODY Should Even Attempt These Minecraft Projects" from ibxtoycat. They liked the desert temple idea, and so the challenge of building it in 100% survival Minecraft was on. Later on, IconPippi decided to use purple wool instead of the classic orange color for the glyphs on the two towers to add that personality factor.
The construction
The construction process is divided into 3 main phases: terraforming, external build, internal build.
Terraforming
- Terraforming starts 05/04/2020 when IconPippi first arrived at the build location.
- After a few days of solo working 
87w becomes the first volunteer contributor.
- Soon after 
doggo_swimmer19 joins the terraforming efforts.
- The 14th April sejdin57 starts his long-term slave career as a miner for this project.
- More slaves will join in over the course of the task.
- 
ickyacky chews on an impressive amount of stone and sand with her powerful tools for most of the 16th April.
- 15th May: jimmyd93 uses his super pickaxe to do some heavy terraforming on the eastern hill.
- It's morning on the 21st May and IconPippi wakes up to find out Krenath used his WorldEdit powers to complete the terraforming overnight, more than 100,000 blocks were removed.
- Terraforming ends on the 21st of May 2020.
