Industrial Kanal has been a kanal town landmark since 2018. It provides the city with farms for items and a large xp grinder for experience. It was apart of the failed "Kanal Town 2.0" project.
Farms
Below is a list of the various farms in the facility.
Stone & Cobblestone
The stone and cobblestone farms are located on the Oak Dock - A section of the facility. They produce a lot of each material. The cobblestone farm was built by {[User|Krenath}} in 2021 and had a stone farm added onto it by SiOtter in 2023.
Porkchops
The Baconator 2000 is the name of the porkchop farm. It's a big pig farm, drops pigs into fire and creates porkchops. It has an AFK area attached to it which also serves as access to a maintenance deck for the Oak Log farm.
Oak Log Farm
An autofarm for Oak Logs. It has 2 harvesters, one of them connects to the stone farm for furnace fuel, the other connects to some chests for people to grab wood from. It has a non official apple farm attached aswell, but thats more to prevent entity lag from items than anything else.
Public Spawners
The industrial area is home to 2 public spawners. These spawners people can use /setspawner on to get whatever mob they currently desire. The spawners are split into a passive and hostile. The passive spawner is uncovered and the hostile one is in a building.
Skeleton Grinder
Built in 2018, this grinder resides ontop of an even older grinder from earlier in 2018. The older grinder was a zombie grinder, and the newer one is for skeletons. The skeleton grinder is powered by over 6 spawners and can get you to 30 levels of experience in a few minutes.
There's also chests, an enderchest, and a enchanting table (but no lapis) inside.
Access
The district can be accessed via the Oak Dock-A behind the Great Lakes & Kanal Town Museum or via the GL-01 highway on the Kanal 2.0 turnoff.
