MCO Awards
The MinecraftOnline Awards are a child of
winx51 and
techkid6 that have been running since the summer of 2012. These awards are voted for by YOU the players and are based on a wide variety of categories.
Nominations
The nomination phase lasts one week and requires users to fill out nominations for players they wish to receive awards. To do this, players log on to the voting website and fill out each text box. At the end of the week of nominations, the nominees will be determined, and the page will switch to the voting phase.
Voting
Voting takes place during the week directly after the nominations and also lasts only a week. At this point, the text boxes have magically changed into multiple-choice bubbles. Simply choose one bubble per category to vote!
The Awards
Some time after voting closes,
techkid6 and
winx51 will tally up the votes. If there is a tie, a tie-breaking vote will be put in place, yes, this has happened before. Once every vote is marked, the award-making process begins! The awards consist of a named diamond and an item frame to hang it in. An awards ceremony will take place at the Glenfiddich Performing Arts Centre, in which each category-winner will get an award.
