Map Art of MCO

Map Art is a form of artistic expression in Minecraft using a map item to take a top-down snapshot of a specially crafted area. Unlike normal terrain, the area chosen to be captured as an image in the map is specifically designed by the artist to form an image or pattern. These maps can then be displayed in item frames as decorations. On MCO, the most popular places for players to build map arts are just above sea level in large bodies of water, where there is plenty of free space lacking player builds. Map arts can easily be seen from Freedonia's Live map, or the Control Panel maps section.

As seen in the control panel, all maps are saved as IDs. This page is a document of all map IDs useful for general decoration, primarily map art or useful patterns. You can obtain copies of each map by either using the Craftbook map IC, crafting an empty map item with an existing copy, or /getmap while standing on the location in-game. Please do not create maps of existing art by using empty map items by right-clicking, as this needlessly creates a new ID of an already documented location.

Map art displaying NSFW content or symbols of hate will be removed by Admins if found. This is due to all map art being visible to the public from the server's live map.

Map ID List

• IDs listed for each map are the lowest possible, and in the future, all duplicate IDs of the same location and scale will be likely be cleared.
• Titles are chosen by the author of the work. Some titles are currently unavailable as the author has not yet managed to be contacted. Titles in bold were chosen by  Scampi_
• Along with titles, some author names will also be missing. If you can provide the info to help complete this list, it will be appreciated!
