The New Sardinian Federation is a small federation consisting of 8 states (2 planned, 1 autonomous) and 1 territory. It was founded by players LolePlay_PL and ErenStampy, founders of South Loletown. Erenstampy left the East Island on the 11th of September of the same year. When he left, he left rules to make sure the island doesn't get griefed. Erenstampy left it so people would have a place to rest and eat while they were on a journey.
In 16th September, 2019, Erenstampy established the West Midlake Island, an island connected to the East Midlake Island via bridge, and in January 27, 2020, Erenstampy established South Island; completing the islands.
The nearest Nexus is South (Lime) 3, which is about 2500 blocks away. Vizima is the nearest warp, and is about 1000 blocks away.
It is the organizer of Project Grande Sardinia, which will one day become the state Grande Sardinia and Fondare.
"Fuck it. I want to live here!" - LolePlay_PL
On September 17th, 2019, both Erenstampy and Lole agreed to live on the islands. They both left South Loletown and Erenstampy got his stuff from his chest, while Lole waited. Lole left a few minutes later, but Erenstampy managed to rebuild his house block-by-block in 10 minutes. From this date on, Erenstampy and Lole live on New Sardinia.
On Febuary 4th, 2020, Erenstampy established the New Sardinian Federation, and proclaimed himself the first president.

The Midlake Islands
The Midlake Islands is a region of the federation consisting of 3 three states, of all whom belonged to the Midlake Islands settlement before it got incorporated into the federation. It is home to the de-facto capital, East Island. Currently, the three Midlake Islands are the only states in the federation.
East Midlake Island
East Midlake Island is the biggest island of the three Midlake Islands, and it is considered the de-facto capital of the federation. It has the most important landmark, the lighthouse. This island was originally the only island, until Erenstampy found and established West Island. East Island has two docks and 2 ruleboards, as well as the rest base, two farms and a mine. When Erenstampy and Lole are not around, the cool sheep keep the island in bay.
Being the de-facto capital and the first island to be part of the Midlake settlement, East Island has the most number of attractions and farms.
West Midlake Island
West Midlake Island is the second smallest of the three Midlake Islands. It houses the Midlake Hotel; a hotel where people can stay while on a journey and have everything they need. There was an attempt to colonize an island in the north of East Midlake Island, but Erenstampy thought it was too far away and to big to flatten. West Midlake Island was born when Erenstampy found a smaller but closer island which would be easier to flatten. He built a cobblestone bridge there, and declared it part of the Midlake Island colony, and thus he name of the settlement became "The Midlake Islands". Other than the hotel, the island consists of scattered torches, a tree farm and a carrot farm. West Island has one dock and one ruleboard.
South Midlake Island
South Midlake Island is the smallest and the last island to be integrated into the Midlake settlement. It was made to be home to 
_MisterAwesome_'s base. It is decorated with fake trees, which makes the island look better. As of right now, _MisterAwesome_'s house is not built.
Grande Sardinia
Grande Sardinia, shortened to Grande, is a planned state that will be incorporated in the future. It is the planned cultural center of the federation. It will not have actual land, but it rather will be where most of the attractions are found. It is currently part of Project Grande Sardinia, along with Fondare, and is planned to be an established state when atleast 15 landmarks, like small forests. gardens, etc. Currently, Project Grande Sardinia consists of the bridge connecting the Midlake Islands to Vizima and New Royal Seaton Hotel.
Fondare
Fondare, is a planned state that will be incorporated in the future, along with Grande. It is the planned political center of the federation. Like its brother state, t will not have actual land, but it rather will be where most of the political matters and famous buildings are found. It is likely that all matters of Freedonia politics that will take place in the federation will be held in the also planned New Sardinian Freedonia Embassy (NSFE), which will be located within Fondare. It is currently called Project Grande Sardinia, and is planned to be an established state when atleast 15 buildings, like embassies, villas etc.
Territories
Territories are part of the federation which have not entered into statehood yet. When they are settled, they are created under the name of a territory. A territory needs a farm, an attraction and 20 days of existence before being admitted to the federation as a new state. These rules ensure that the territory is cleaned up, built up and sweeped before entering the union. Territories are often bigger, and needs to be split of into 2 or more states so all of the states stay a relative same size.
Southern Territory/New Azerbaijan
Southern Territory, or New Azerbaijan, is a territory proclaimed to be part of the federation on 9th February, 2020. After achieving statehood, the territory will be divided into two states; New Baku and New Shirvan, hence the name of New Azerbaijan. It is planned to achieve statehood by 1st of March.
The next day, Erenstampy declared that a third state, New Nakhchevan would be carved out from extra land, making the New Azerbaijan region equal to the Midlake Islands.
Autonomous States
Autonomous states are states that are governed by the governor of said state only, and the president has little power over it.
Autonomous Exclave of Sand Island
The A.E of Sand Island is an autonomous exclave of the federation. It is governed by 
pretzel33, and his house is located there. Since it is thousands of blocks away, it is relatively still independent. Controlling a state thousands upon thousands of blocks away is a hard feat. It is only part of the federation because its then-owner, pretzel33, requested that Sand Island become part of the federation in 10th February, becoming the 9th state in the federation.

Regions
Regions are geographical parts of the federation consisting of states that have historical ties to each-other.
The Midlake Islands
The Midlake region consists of the states of East, West and South Midlake Islands. This region is the birthplace of the federation, and East Island holds historical significance. Due to this, the state was proclaimed the de-facto capital of the newly-established federation.
New Azerbaijan
New Azerbaijan is a region consisting of the Southern Territory of the same name (New Azerbaijan) which will consist of 2 states; New Baku and New Shirvan. In September of 2019, Erenstampy had plans of colonizing the island which would become New Azerbaijan, and which he would call North Midlake Island. But, due to multiple reasons, he abandoned this island. He would never touch it until Febuary of 2020, when he proclaimed it the Southern Territory.
Governors
Governors are people who are mainly responsible with the agricultural matters and buildings. Governors represent their states.

Trivia
- East Midlake Island was found on accident, when ErenStampy and LolePlay_PL were trying to find a leaf bridge. They rested on East Midlake Island, but they didn't continue on their journey and built a settlement on the island.
- ErenStampy came up with the name "Midlake Island", which is a combination of the words "middle" and "lake", pointing out the fact that the islands are in the middle of a lake.
- The islands are not exactly in the middle of the lake
- The name “New Sardinia” came from the Italian island, Sardinia.
- Neither Erenstampy nor Lole are Italian, but Erenstampy thought it was a cooler name.
