The New United States (often shortened to New US) is a federal presidential republic founded by MonkeSniper221 and led by MonkeSniper221 and 
JCobbler2012. It is a part of the Cakeville Empire. New United States operates primarily in the Northwest region of Freedonia, with various other settlements Located throughout Freedonia.

Structure
The New United States is modeled after the real life United States of America in terms of political structure and laws.
States
States are independent towns that have complete sovereignty. The New United States has no say in what happens in these towns unless the town owner decides otherwise. A state can leave the New United States for any reason on their own accord. Each State has rights that cannot be violated. (a link for state rights will be added later.)
POTUS and VPOTUS
The President of the New United States (POTUS. yes, no N) and the Vice President of the New United States (VPOTUS. Again, no N) are the leaders of the New United States. the VPOTUS title and POTUS title are purely cosmetic, as both leaders have the same power. If the president resigns, is gone for too long, or gets banned, then the VPOTUS is next in line in becoming president.
Senators
Senators are the leaders/owners of their town and also the representatives of their town. Senators also have the power to recruit new towns under a majority vote. A town can have multiple senators at once.
Constitution
A constitution will be created at some point.
American Empire
The American Empire is the branch of the New United States that exists on an anarchy server. Unlike the MCO branch, the American Empire models itself as an extremely authoritarian totalitarian dictatorship that pillages and takes over any towns it sees.
History
New United States as a "settlement"
MonkeSniper221 founded CornerStone on February 18, 2023. Its location at the intersection was the reason why it was settled there and initially named CornerStone.
On February 20, Cornerstone became a state (or district) of the newly formed New United States, intended to be a country separate from a town and containing states. The settlement began expanding into four states later on. On March 17, 2023, it joined the Newport Empire. On March 22, 2023, Sunny Meadows joined the New United States as its fourth State, and JCobbler2012 became vice president that same day.
Actual formation of the country and growth
Sunny Meadows joining New US on March 22, 2023, could be considered the start of the New United States as an actual country, although it wasn't considered one by MonkeSniper221 until March 23, 2023, when the New United states was revised as a country consisting of three towns: CornerStone, New Austin, and Sunny Meadows. (Libertyville was Absorbed into CornerStone).
On May 29, 2023, Kanal Town joined the New United States as its third state. New Austin was also removed from statehood and instead remodeled as a military outpost. On May 30, 2023, Cakeville joined New United States, and the New US seceded from the Newport Empire that same day (Before rejoining the next day). On May 31, 2023, Valheim joined the New United States. On June 10, 2023, Windowsland joined the New United States. On June 19, 2023, The New United States seceded from the Newport Empire once more due to confusion among the states. On June 20, 2023, an alliance was formed with Mihastopol, who would later join the same day. Mare City also joined the New United States the same day
On 6/26/23, 
Snakyman declared war on the New United States due to a territorial dispute over one of the towns. Literally nothing has happened in the war. Kanal Town would leave both Newport Empire and the New USA shortly after this war following an independence vote.
On August 14 and 15, respectively, Kekistan and Sunset Island joined the New United States.

Former States
New Austin
New Austin is a planned military outpost founded sometime in March 2023 by MonkeSniper221. The old location of New Austin consisted of an unfinished auto harvester and a mine. Originally planned to be an industrial town, it will instead be a military outpost in a remote region containing a very large stockpile of weaponry, armory, and supplies for the New United States Military should it be needed. The decision to remove its state and township status was made on May 29, 2023, and finalized on May 30, 2023, with the decision to instead make it a military outpost made the same day. The old region will be merged into CornerStone
Libertyville
Libertyville was the second state of the New United States, founded on February 20, 2023. On March 23, 2023 during the transition of New United States into an organization, Libertyville was merged with Cornerstone.
Fun fact: Libertyville was named after the real life village in Illinois
Windowsland
Windowsland is a town founded by 
Java64Bit. It is a part of the Lake Callian Region. It joined the New United States on June 10, 2023, and left on August 21, 2023
Kanal Town
Kanal Town is a town founded by 
SnapJaw (Now 
SiOtter) in 2017. It is a part of the Newport Empire, Benjamese Empire, and FPKA. It joined the New US on May 29, 2023 and left on August 3rd 2023.
United Federal Territories
Refers to any land claims of the New United States that is not a state, due to the lack of a settlement or residents
