The first in a series of Islands named the Isles of Islandia, Poppy Island was founded the second out of the series.

It was originally founded as "Rose Island," before  ZJTrayGamingYT realized that an existing island is already named Rose Island, so they scrapped naming it that. The sign which shows who owns the island still shows it named as "Rose Island." Nothing was ever done with the island, but a Nether Portal, a Crafting Table, a Furnace, an Enchantment Table, and an empty singular chest are all that exist on the island other than signs.

Two signs exist on the island other than the one naming it, which show who has ventured over to Poppy Island. They say:
