In-Game Persona
Machines_Are_Us is a player you will most likely see getting asked (and answering) a lot of questions. Whilst he sometimes feels like he is an FAQ, he is more than happy to help as long as he isn't asked the same thing twice in the space of ten minutes, or if people are rude. Machines would hope to think that people find him friendly and approachable, and is always willing to give a hand or a suggestion to anyone who asks.
He is most commonly found in two places: Checking the spawn for grief is the first, this became a habit after he was present during a 4Chan raid, he came across some areas that had been griefed, and since then decided to check those places out every time he logs onto the server. The other place you will find him is wherever someone has asked him to go, he enjoys seeing other peoples creations and is normally too polite to turn down an invitation to see what somebody has come up with.
Despite his general politeness, he does not, however, show a friendly face towards people who behave in certain ways.
This can include:
- Asking for good-rep, or bribing people for it.
- Killing new people, before they have had a chance to settle in.
- Creating drama over insignificant things.
- Players who only act nice when there are staff present, or break rules if they can get away with them.
- Picking on players via chat.
- People who tell others what to do, as opposed to asking. Especially when the person is talking to staff, or wanting a favour.
- Griefers who lie and/or make excuses for it.
- People who argue for the sake of it.
What He Has Accomplished
Machines does have a couple of flaws in his otherwise cold and machine-like personality, and that is he can be very fickle, and easily bored of the projects he has started. Nonetheless he has succeeded in building or assisting in several.
