Nostalgia's Story
I joined first on 15th June in 2021.
When I first joined I didn't know what to do, I just read the rules and tried to walk somewhere. When I discovered warps, the first place I warped to was East Austania. I walked a bit away from the settlement to build my own house. When I got there, I started gathering materials for my simple house and then building the house was a bit of a trouble, there were a lot of zombies and I got killed over and over again. But in the end I finished the house, it was not the most beautiful house but you could live in it. I then built a well and mined a bit. After some time I built 2 other houses to not feel so alone. I had a lot trouble with mobs all the time I got killed by skeletons, zombies and creepers. Then I decided to build a wall around my little village I made to protect myself from mobs. I then became quite inactive. But after some time I invited my friends to join me and basically make a town. Sadly they were not that active. I then joined a town called Oak Town because I felt a bit alone in my ghost village with 3 residents. I built a hotel in Oak Town with Kendon. Later I invited Kendon to join Stockholm, I decided to name my home after my country's capital. I became again a bit inactive and when I came back Oak Town seemed pretty much dead. So I decided to work on Stockholm with Kendon. We built the Castle Depression. After a time MCO felt boring. I felt tired of MCO, it felt like I discovered everything I wanted on the server so I decided to get myself banned by breaking some torches. My last experience was getting an alpha slab, something I never did on other servers. Even though I played on the server for only a few months I enjoyed it for a while. At the end there was no point of me staying.
My journey on MCO ended 10th October in 2021. I'm very happy to having the chance to play on MCO. I wasn't the most social person on MCO but I met some interesting people on the server.
Note: A person critiqued me for getting myself banned. So I'm here to explain why I got myself banned. I played on many survival servers and I got bored on all of them. So usually when I got bored of the server, I banned myself. It was usually griefing. Getting myself banned, eventually became a ritual on all servers. Another thing the person said is that I didn't explore everything. And said that just because I played 200 hours on the server, doesn't mean that I explored everything. I never stated that, by saying I explored everything I wanted, I was meaning that I saw all interesting things MCO could offer. Buildings, towns, etc. No, I didn't gain any respect in the community, never tried to either. I created a town, because I wanted to pleasure myself. Not someone else, it was something I never saw on other servers I played. My town of course wasn't popular, and even got raided a few times. But I still gained some citizens, not the most active but I did. It was fun. So I did gain all the experiences I could, and it was only after a few months. I don't see a reason why I would join now, and probably never will see a reason. Because there isn't something left to explore more than the community. But gotta admit, MCO is the only server like that.
