Backstory

An avid builder and a decent PvPer,  TheGriffinLord first joined MCO under the username  GriffinLord12 after watching the April Fool's video that  Fit made about the server. Unlike the majority of Fit's fanbase, however,  TheGriffinLord is not a griefer and mostly kept to himself during the first few weeks after he joined. He eventually became more social in chat, made a few friends, created several builds, and had a couple of duels. As of writing this wiki, he still hasn't joined any towns because he is more of a lone wolf type and prefers independence.  TheGriffinLord is generally a nice guy who would choose peace over warfare any day, but if you get on his bad side, you should probably not join MCO anytime soon. If you see him in Freedonia, he will most likely be collecting materials for a build, exploring new parts of the server, or asking people if they would donate their head to his collection.

Fun Facts

• One of only a few people on the server to own a SlowRiot reputation cookie.
• Currently has five official PvP wins to his name:  Fesojthegreat,  IconPippi,  jriver_15,  Fobboscraft and  MelonHeadKid(iron kit against MelonHeadKid)
• Currently has four official losses:  Xyginator,  Eclypto18,  TheDemetri, and  MelonHeadKid(no kit against MelonHeadKid)
• Lost his god horse Shadowfax in the Sheepocalypse

• Portal trapped  Darkerfly after being ambushed for his head. Darker snuck into his house while under the effects of an invisibility potion, and attacked without warning. Thinking quickly, Griffin ran to his nether portal and quickly built a barrier around the portal in the Nether. Darker fell for the trap, and once he realized his situation he offered his head in exchange for Griffin's. Griffin agreed and set Darker free.
• Reached 300 hours on August 23, 2020.
• Changed his username to  TheGriffinLord in September 2020.
• Challenged  1235_John to a duel near spawn but their fight eventually became a 2v1 as  KingServal jumped in and joined John's side. Although he fought hard, Griffin was no match against two players at once and was killed.
• Reached 400 hours on October 28, 2020.
• Was banned for 1 minute on the MCO discord in November 2020. After receiving the discord donor status and the /nick command, Griffin was going to rename himself to Demetri and type a few things in chat for some laughs when  TheDemetri saw him typing and insta-banned him from discord. Griffin immediately apologized and Demetri removed the ban.
• Reached 500 hours on November 19, 2020.

 TheGriffinLord waited until after he had logged 250 hours on MCO before actually registering. Because of this, other players had some profound, and often hilarious, reactions to his white name.

Donor Status

On the 6th of November, 2020, an anonymous player donated to the server in Griffin's name, automatically giving him donor status and a green star.

Builds

• The first build Griffin made was a cobble / stone brick house called Fort Halcyon which lies about 3k blocks east of Spawn. Some other builds which he made around it include a statue of himself (yes, he is very humble), the largest melon tower on MCO, a treetop museum where he keeps part of his head collection and some other collectibles, a large Nether portal, and a few gravestones for the beloved mobs who died.
• At the request of  pretzel33, he built a Nether-themed axe at Sand Island which was christened Hades' Battleaxe.
• For the 10th Anniversary build competition, he made a statue of a Steve Policeman, which was dedicated to the iconic mob of MCO.
• Built a new home south of New Eden called Welkin Castle where he plans to live in the foreseeable future.
