Schmuu Tower was supposed to be the first building of a town yet to be named or founded. A player on MinecraftOnline of less than two weeks, Schmuu had ambitious plans to build a sprawling, realistic, tightly packed city. He chose the site where Schmuu Tower sits today due to its large area of flat land and its proximity to a boat route and a large body of water (he hoped to make the town a seafaring one). Schmuu Tower is four stories tall, not counting the basement, and currently sits mostly empty. It was both the first building of the envisioned town and the first building Schmuu had ever built on the server. The tower was envisioned to sit in a tightly-packed row of similar buildings along the shore of the neighboring body of water, thus being the reason for its uniform, box-like structure. For Schmuu Tower specifically, Schmuu hoped to make the first floor a shop of some sort, the basement a storage area, and the top three floors apartments.
With limited resources, sub-par tools, and a significant amount of block lag, construction of the tower was excruciatingly slow relative to its size; resources were gathered as the tower was built, and on top of that, large amounts of smoothstone had to be smelted on some particularly laggy days. When the building was completed on October 15th, 2018, it was apparent that Schmuu's vision of a sprawling, realistic city with wide streets and an abundance of shops and residents was going to take a significantly larger amount of time and resources than he had previously thought. Coincidentally, literally moments after the tower was completed, Schmuu received an invitation from
Mrsuperdiamond to join his new settlement, Titanville. Lured by the prospect of living around other players and having a number of buildings and farms already built around him plus being somewhat discouraged about his own town based on the time it took to complete one relatively small building, Schmuu made the hasty but, ultimately, preferable decision to abandon his planned town and start a new life on the server in Titanville.

Schmuu's House is Schmuu's current residence and was his second building project and third completed build. It is located in Titanville. The house is loosely based off of Frank Lloyd Wright's famous Fallingwater in Mill Run, Pennsylvania. As a building tactic, Schmuu allowed himself one good look at an image of Fallingwater before building his house and then prohibited himself from looking at any more pictures of it once he began building so as to create a building reminiscent of, but not a direct copy of, the real thing. Its clean, modern architecture contrasts significantly with the majority of Titanville's buildings, as most of them are significantly smaller than the house and follow a nearly universal oak wood and oak log block palette. Schmuu's House follows a somewhat strict block palette of stone bricks, spruce wood, smooth sandstone, and glass and includes many balconies and large windows and skylights allowing for a very "open," "outdoors-y" atmosphere throughout the house. Fallingwater is known for taking similar aspects into account.
Schmuu built the house for looks and aesthetics over functionality or practicality, as the house has much more space than is necessary to live decently. The house features a large living room, a foyer, a bedroom, a patio, a rooftop pool, a large wall of furnaces, and a storage room which are all private to Schmuu. The house also features an XP grinder (with automatic collector chests), an enchanting room, an anvil, and a potion brewing station which are open to all Titanville residents. The section of the house that holds these resources is separated from the private part of the house by doors that can only be opened from the private section, giving Schmuu easy access to them but not allowing others utilizing them to explore the private section of the house.

The BearTown Store was Schmuu's first build in BearTown. He had visited BearTown once before, being given a tour by its founder,
RPS_DA_BEAR, and was amazed at how quickly the town was constructed and how many residents it had. A few weeks later on February 1st, 2019, Schmuu saw in chat that RPS and some other players were constructing a plaza in BearTown and needed extra help constructing the multiple buildings that would come with it. He offered to contribute and was welcomed. Contributors to BearTown Plaza include

Schmuu had no initial plans for the Beartown Store, and it still sits empty today. However, as suggested by the word "store" in its title, Schmuu now has plans to turn it into a store of some sort (right now, the most plausible idea is a bow and arrow store). The store should become functional in the near future.
The design of the building is similar to that of the Titanville Embassy (Antopia), though much more homely and scaled back. One of its key features is its sagging, medieval-style roof which Schmuu is very proud of.

Schmuu built the arch purely out of impulse; he wanted to create a grand entrance to the plaza, and an arch seemed like an easy yet effective solution. While building it, he imagined he was building something similar to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, France (though much smaller) except in a style utilizing cobblestone, logs, and wood to fit BearTown's Germanic medieval theme.

The BearTown Clock Tower was Schmuu's third build in BearTown. He had visited BearTown once before, being given a tour by its founder,
RPS_DA_BEAR, and was amazed at how quickly the town was constructed and how many residents it had. At the far side of the plaza, RPS had laid out a flat area with signs saying that he wanted a clock tower. He also stated that because it was such a big project and because it would be so noticeable, he would be somewhat picky with its appearance and that he would have permission to edit the building as he pleased. Schmuu felt up to the task.
Schmuu's first design for the clock tower was a combination of the KERANOVA Clever Paper Medieval Clock Tower and a clock tower on a very old Minecraft Pocket Edition map called "Von Fatalis." Both of these towers are not particularly grandiose or detailed, and both are rather boxy. Schmuu completed most of the front facade but thought it looked somewhat juvenile compared to his other builds. Granted, the reference clock towers were somewhat simple, but when rebuilt in Minecraft, that simplicity became lackluster. RPS also commented that it was "a bit too simple" and even modified the doorway. After some pondering, Schmuu had no idea how to detail it to make it look better and decided that it would be easier to tear it down and start fresh.
