The 2013 "Summer Fun" Build Competition was a summer/beach themed event that took place from September 5th to September 21st. Entrants were told to portray the spirit of summer in some way.
Builders were free to choose a plot and build within the dimensions of the area provided. Each of the 36 plots is 17x15 blocks, builders were permitted to build up to 30 blocks above their chosen area and digging down was required to be kept to a minimum. Builders were not allowed to expand their builds outside of their plots but could build on top of or remove the surrounding fence.
