Checkered snowfall generation is a world generation glitch found on MinecraftOnline where snow will only fall in every other chunk, leaving a natural checker pattern on the ground. This atmospheric anomaly first appeared with the 1.12.2 world expansion. This glitch has been noted to have four instances throughout the server, mostly located near the world borders.
