The Kanal Town Market and Auction House is the first such building in Freedonia (that the page writer is aware of). The building is a mixed use commercial building located on DarkOak Dock. Since its creation the building has held many high profile auctions.

General Info
The building is located on the DarkOak Dock in Kanal Town. It has 2 entry points, one via DarkOak Dock itself and the other via the Guardian Road in south Kanal Town. Kanal Town residents can hold auctions on the second floor and open stalls on the first floor for free. Non residents cannot open stalls on the first floor, however, they can host an auction for a price of 2 diamond blocks.
Hosting an auction
While hosting an auction you need to keep a few things in mind and follow a couple of rules.
- 1 Do Not: auction off illegally obtained items! Doing so will get you banned from the auction house and put on the Kanal Town rule breakers watchlist.
- 2 Do Not: Leave the place a mess, please clean up after yourself so town staff or the next person using the room can do so.
- 3 Do Not: host an auction unpaid unless you are a town member. If you want to host free auctions join Kanal Town.
- 4 Do Not: Spam Chat, follow the rules while you are doing auctions still.
- 5 Please Do: keep a record of what's sold for a later date. Via this data we can keep track of the highest sold items at every auction.
Any payment is good as long as you know the conversion rates. The Freedonia Bankers Institution has a currency exchange located in Kanal Town incase you need to change up how you are paying.
Stall Ownership
Kanal Town residents can open stalls in the lower floor of the building. These stalls are a good way to get some extra cash from people leaving from auctions and via other town members. At the moment the lower floor is selling only enchanted books.
