About
The Kanal Town Public Library is a public library located in Kanal Town. Built in 2023 by CarCrasher13, its a place where you can read and rent books written by other players. The building has two floors and plenty of material to read. There is a book return and donation box located in the first floor to return books. The second floor is a reading lounge where you can relax and read your book of choice. There is also a community events board outside of the library where you can post events that are happening or that you are hosting.
The library is a completely free resource and relies on donations made by players, to keep it this way you need to follow the library rules
Rules
1: No grieving the build, This is against the server rules and will get you banned.
2: always return books to the return box when you are done reading them, we have limited resources so please return them to the return box when you are done.
3: always return books to the return box and NEVER the shelves, we have a organization system that is hard to manage if players just throw the books around all willy-nilly.
4: if you lose a book please report it to CarCrasher13 and provide a book and quill.
5: feel free to make copies of books.
How to donate books and how we will process them
1: obtain or write a book
2: put book in return / donation box
3: we will review your book and see if it is worth putting in the library
4: we will store the copy that was donated to us in a secure chest
5: we will make copies of that book and put it in the library
Note: We will only accept originals and copes of originals, not copes of copes so we can copy them
