UserUser When to use

Place this on any User: namespace page. It will produce the handy info box. It will also automatically categorise moderators and admins.

Please don't attempt to alter the code for this template unless you really know what you're doing, and you have community consensus.

Please only use this template for individual users, and only in the User: namespace - for organisations, use Template:Infobox organisation.

Usage

Copy the text below, paste it at the very top of the relevant article, and modify as appropriate:

{{Infobox user
|minecraftname = JimBob732
|preferredname = Jim
|skinexplain = Elf prince
|gender = Male
|location = Canada
|nationality = Japanese
|birthdayday = 28
|birthdaymonth = 2
|birthdayyear = 1975
|occupation = Hairdresser
|firstjoindate = 17 December 2010
|firstbuilding = [[WeepingMiner]]
|moderator = Yes
|admin = No
|donorlevel = Donated
|kitlevel = Wood
|legacydonorlevel = Wood
}}

Or use this blank template:

{{Infobox user
|minecraftname =
|preferredname =
|skinexplain =
|gender =
|location =
|nationality =
|birthdayday =
|birthdaymonth =
|birthdayyear =
|occupation =
|firstjoindate =
|firstbuilding =
|moderator =
|admin =
|donorlevel =
|kitlevel =
|legacydonorlevel =
}}

Notes

  • If you use this template and don't populate all fields, keep the unused fields - this will help future editors fill in the additional information later.
  • Avoid messing with the formatting while using this template to keep the fields easy to update and maintain.
  • Listing token/legacy kits under donorlevel is deprecated. It is supported only to keep existing pages working.
    • Use the kitlevel and legacydonorlevel parameters instead.
  • Legacy donors should list their current kit under kitlevel, even if it matches their legacy donor level. This is needed to categorise them based on their kit.
