What is "The Big Wet"?
The Big Wet (name dubbed by Ken_The_Foxxo) is the name given to a series of long, seemingly unending rainstorms that occurred on MCO during the 2022 Fight Before Christmas event at Winterthorn. When a player typed in the command "/dungeon Winterthorn" to trigger the Winter event, it would also unleash a server-wide storm. This was possibly the result of a plan by the admins to stop certain players from stealing mobs from the event and bringing them to their personal museums. The pouring rain would go on indefinitely until the server successfully used /goodnight, but it normally took only a few moments for a player to start it back up again, repeating the cycle for the duration of the event.
Superstitions
"The Big Wet is the greatest rainstorm to ever ravage MCO. Nobody knows how it started but the rain never ceases. Many have speculated where this storm have came from. Some came to conclusions that 
SlowRiot was trying to drown us for our sins. Constant dances to the rain gods have bore no fruit of success. the people of Freedonia cower in fear of what shal become of this storm. Is it the end of the world? will we all die?
One day the rain stops. People rejoice as the evil rain departs our blessed lands. Unfortunately the rain quickly returns in vengeance to once again cause havoc upon our lands." -
