Edgeville is a small town located at the current Southern edge of the world. Here located small monument saying that it's the edge of the world.
At the time of July 2023, you can join us by contacting us via in-game chat, mail, leaving a note, or by writing to makjus in the discord. We welcome new residents.
The rules are that if you are a member of the settlement, do not build modern houses. We also do not welcome violence on the territory of the community. Except for self-defense and punishment of thieves.
Directions
- To reach the town of EdgeVille follow Route 101 towards Vera and go right when reaching the roadsign telling you to follow EdgeVille HWY
- The Yugboat route passes through the town.
- During April - July 2023 the city was connected to the NHS As of this writing, this is the fastest way to get to the town. You should move to the Emerald Mall (possibly by Nexus), click on the sign to drop one level down and enter the portal to the Nether. Proceed straight to the main road, then turn left until you see a branch on the left side towards the portal to Edgeville.
History
When Thedutchdoggo came here on the left bank of the river, he built a small monument here, meaning that this is the end of the world, his home and connected the settlement with route 101. This happened in February 2022. On the eve of makjus's "big construction" in July 2023, with the possible destruction (?) of the original bulletin board, its content contained the following information (also see screenshot):
- An undetermined amount of time after the settlement's creation, Alexgark01, the Vera's ambassador, visited him, as he noted on the visitor's board.
- On 21.04 Energheat visited here.
- 4.09 settlement was visited by StoneZ1590.
- A few months later, on October 13, YugRekooh laid his boat route through this area, for which the settlement is very grateful to him.
- On April 8, makjus came here, decided to join the road and settle on the right bank of the river. After two weeks he contacted with alexgark01 and they agreed to build a settlement together. Alexgark01 has started making his hobbit house on the high ground under which the road tunnel runs. They decided to name the town Edgeford. This name was later changed back to Edgeville in July 2023. makjus contacted with Yugekooh via email and requested permission from him to change the buoys that interfered with the development of the city, provided that the integrity of the connection of the boat route was preserved. He also arranged for the city to be connected to the NHS, and a basic ice track was immediately laid out with the possibility of boat travel. Most likely, the person who helped in creating portals to and from hell in the right places was JCobbler2012. We are grateful to him for this, since the opportunity to reach the city for other players in about 2 minutes through the Emerald Mall and the Nexus opened up good prospects for increasing the number of inhabitants of the settlement. From the day when makjus came to Edgeville he decided to build the heads of those players who were involved in the founding and development of the city as a sign of gratitude. The city's pixel art gallery will never be complete as the city will evolve all the time. In addition, Makjus made his own house with a small garden, a community wheat farm, a visitor's house, a sandy avenue, roads and bridges. He took the first steps in the improvement of the embankment, the construction of the subway and the market square, town walls. On the second day of makjus's stay in the town a "great cactus" was planted. Some players received their plots during April. In the Freedonian Treaty Organization, the town began to be represented by makjus and alexgark01. After a break of two and a half months, Makjus returned on July 9, 2023 with the intention of making big plans come true.

If the town expansion plan requires it, and the buildings are found to be very ugly, they can be changed (relocated, removed) by makjus. But he guarantees that good buildings will remain and he will not touch the chests.
