Do I have to register?
Registration is free, and completely optional - you can still play even if you never register. The purpose of registering is to provide a secure method of access to the variety of advanced game features offered via the MinecraftOnline website.
How to register
In order to securely access the web control panel and registration features, we need to confirm your in-game username and email address.

Start Minecraft and log on.

Connect to MinecraftOnline.com.

Press t and enter /register email in the chat (where "email" is your email address).

Check your email - you should receive a message from noreply@minecraftonline.com. Click the link in the email to confirm your address.

The system will then take you through creating a password and configuring your control panel!
