The Mawu Highway is a road between Northport and Las Vereno located throughout Starlight Valley. It also connects up other cities in the region including Aurora, 44town, Hafenburg, and Aquamos.

History

In the waning years of Project MOON's reconstruction efforts, many settlements sprung up to help establish more permanent borders for the region. Originally home to a small lighthouse and keeper, Northport was settled by eastbound caravans who used the land to trade with both Western Waters Shipping Co. and on occasion the Caretakers of MOON. It was named after the Northshore Lighthouse located on Point Novus. Eventually, the lightkeeper offered up the land and the settlement was formally founded. A wall was constructed to border the western mainland and also hold up the small mountain from collapsing onto the newly terraced land.

Along the way, contact was made by the Caretakers of MOON at long last with the historical city of Aurora. Still inhabited, this city was one of the settlements to spring up after The Dawn War came to an end. The highway was directly connected into the town's infrastructure, offering many unique sights such as the Lotus Orb to travelers.

The Blackwater Dam was built between Blackwater Lake and the Jungle. It holds up and filters water into the Starlight Reservoir which is shared amongst the neighboring cities.

In the later stages of construction, the land around the Alamo Peninsula was turned into a park. The aging tree has become a popular tourist spot due to it's connection to the legend of Blackwater.
