Takadokia (previously known as The Midlake Island(s), New Sardinia and New Northwest Verico) is a town located at the southern part of Lake Ganaz. It was originally founded by players HY_Turkic and LolePlay_PL. It was first founded in September 2019, and it grew and grew, and growing to a point where it had control of almost all the islands in the southern part of Lake Ganaz. Though Lole is seen as a co-founder, their involvement in Takadokia is relatively minor, with them being absent for a large majority of the town's existence. While Lole was gone, HY, with the help of a few contributors, made the settlement bigger and bigger.
It has a Nexus link that connects to South (Lime) Hub 3, which is located in Takadokia Velazzo Station. It also has an FRS connection which connects to Takadokia Lole Station. Vizima is the nearest warp, and is about 1000 blocks away.
General Information
Takadokia is located about 14,000 blocks away from spawn and is basically a town built on the ocean and a few scattered islands. It has a few notable landmarks, including the massive Takadokia Lole Station. While the overall area of the town is massive (having an area of around 800,000 meters squared), most of said area is ocean rather than actual landmass. Most of the buildings in Takadokia are located in small and spread-out islands, which are connected by vast roads of cobblestone and ice (the latter being for fast travel).
It is self sufficient for the most part, with it having both an animal grinder and a mob grinder. The capital district of the town is Velazzo, home to many apartments and the Governor's Office, not to mention Takadokia Velazzo Station, which includes the Nexus link and the Nether portal. The oldest district is The Midlake Islands, with it being the origin of Takadokia and the location of the East Midlake Museum, which features recreations of old builds on the island and the oldest building in the entire town, the East Midlake Rest-Base.
Most buildings in Takadokia are built and maintained by founder HY_Turkic, though there are plenty of builds that are works of other players; see Residents for a full list of inhabitants.
Districts
Districts are historical divisions of Takadokia. Each piece of land in Takadokia is in or around one of these districts.

| Velazzo | The heart of Takadokia, Velazzo is also the town’s largest land district. It’s made of three individual islands; the eponymous Velazzo Island, Freska Island and Vysoky Island. In addition to containing the Town Hall, it contains the town's Nexus link. It has many scenic seaside apartments, as well as the Lettuce Skyscraper (built by  Freskooo and Vysoky Palace.

| The Midlake Islands | Often regarded as Takadokia’s oldest district, the Midlake Islands are an integral part of the town’s history. It was from this district alone that Takadokia spread out and became what it is today. It contains several builds, most notable of which being the Independence Memorial. An honourable mention is the East Midlake Museum, which showcases Takadokia’s oldest builds. |  |
| Grande Sardinia | The only district with little to no landmass to its name, most of Grande Sardinia’s “territory” is situated on a cobblestone bridge 200 blocks in length. Along with the Midlake Islands, it’s one of the oldest districts. It has quite a few builds, including the Town Library and Plank Road. It’s the starting point to a bridge connecting Takadokia to the warp city Vizima. |  |
| Nea Makedonia | A Greek-inspired district, Nea Makedonia is built on the islands of Voreia and Kriti. Kriti island contains an apartment complex, as well as the Bunker Museum. On Voreia Island stands a tall apartment building originally made by  Kotobuki_.

| Verican Lebanon | A Middle-Eastern inspired district, Verican Lebanon contains only one apartment building. Its name comes from the fact that the island on which the district stands was originally claimed by Verico. |  |
| Hafkletta | One of the most empty districts, Hafkletta is also the southernmost district of Takadokia. Currently, other than a row of furnaces and a few chests, the district is devoid of any builds. |  |
| North Ganaz | A peculiar district, North Ganaz is separated from the rest of Takadokia by a thousand blocks. The only connection it has to the rest of the town is an arguably unfinished bridge. It’s also quite empty, with only a small haven for boats, a horse stable and a lone hut. As a side note, the island of North Ganaz is the largest non-artificial island in Takadokia. |  |
| Old Loletown | Another historic district of Takadokia. Old Loletown’s mainland contains founder HY_Turkic first ever build and house in Freedonia, as well the house of its co-founder LolePlay_PL. On an island to its north stands Sardinian Eden, a small village built in the style of the once-popular New Eden, with even a working clock tower.

Notable Builds

Transportation
In Takadokia, there are a few means of transportation for travel within or to the town.
Bridges
Takadokia is full of cobble bridges that connect the districts together and it predates any other means of transport within/to the town. Sometimes there are a few 2-block wide gaps with trapdoors to let boats pass through.
Ice Road
The Ice Road is Takadokia's attempt at making a fast-speed transport system and it was inspired from the Ice Highway of New Eden, and once HY saw them he wanted to build a version at his own place. Although the Ice Road is slower than its New Eden counterpart, it is faster than just running. In the Ganaz districts branch of the Ice Road, it encircles the district of Velazzo, with the stops being around those edges. It was recently renovated for it to be smoother so less turns were to be put. It has branches in the Ganaz districts of Takadokia and the district of Old Loletown. There is also an old branch in the former United Duchies of North Sand Island that now belongs to Sand Island and the company that regulates Takadokian Ice Roads does not regulate the one there.
The Ice Road is regulated by the Takadokian Ice Road Company.
Transport Stations
In Takadokia, there are two stations which provide transport services to and from Takadokia.
First, there is Takadokia Lole Station, which was made to provide FRS rail and road services. Its construction started around mid-May of 2020 and the building was completed around mid-June. It was built around the border of Takadokia because at that time it was all ocean. It is perhaps one of the largest FRS stations in Freedonia.
The Takadokia Velazzo Station is a smaller scale station which provides Nexus and Nether portal services; typically it is the first building a visitor will see in Takadokia.
The two stations are connected to one another via road.
Residents
In order to become a resident and/or secure build perms in Takadokia, you must agree to the town rules located in the Nexus link. Once you have agreed to these rules, you will be given build perms and your name will be written here on the category below. This shows that you have agreed to the town rules.

History
Founding of The Midlake Islands
On September 9th 2019, HY_Turkic and LolePlay_PL stumbled upon a small island while exploring, setting up camp on the island, which quickly became a permanent stay. Both Lole and HY tended to the island (which was later named "East Midlake Island"), while Lole went inactive after some time. HY continued to develop the archipelago alone, building and decorating. It was around this time that HY decided to establish a bridge-building project that would connect the Midlake archipelago to the warp town Vizima.
New Sardinian Federation
On February 4th 2020, HY incorporated the Midlake Islands into a new federation; the New Sardinian Federation, which started off with six initial states; East Midlake Island, West Midlake Island, South Midlake Island, New Azerbaijan, Voishah and Vysoky. Meanwhile, the town of Sand Island (owned by 
pretzel33), became an autonomous part of New Sardinia, which started a long bond between the two owners and their towns.
The Federation did only last sixteen days, however it laid the groundwork of what would become modern Takadokia. The name "New Sardinia" would not be abandoned until the name Takadokia was adopted a few months later.
Purchase from Verico
On February 20th 2020, 
Beeraeka bought New Sardinia for 15 iron blocks, starting the Verican rule of the town. New Sardinia was rechristened New Northwest Verico. It was under Verican rule that Takadokia was expanded into what is basically its modern borders.
NNWV enjoyed a high degree of self-governance, being independent in all but name, with HY even getting into a petty squabble with Beeraeka upon seeing that he had cut a tree in New Azerbaijan.
This relative autonomy meant that not much changed upon NNWV's independence from Verico. Now being wealthier than he was when Beer bought New Sardinia, HY repaid Beer back the 15 iron blocks that he used to buy the town. New Northwest Verico lasted for two months before independence was declared.
Independence from Verico
On April 20th 2020, HY announced his intent of succeeding from Verico as the Second Republic (later Commonwealth) of New Sardinia, bringing back the name last used by the Federation a few months back. The town would be formally independent from Verico, but would continue to remain part of the Bedrocco Empire. Excluding a few name changes, New Sardinia would remain relatively unchanged from its independence.
Sultanate of Takadokia
Not long after its independence from Verico, New Sardinia was once again renamed, this time to Takadokia. This name change was meant to bring the town’s identity closer to that of Turkey and Islam, plus to adopt a more unique name. HY wanted a name that would reference the big leap forward his settlement had taken, taking the Arabic word for "progress" (تقدم taqadum) and combining it with the name of the ancient city of Cappadocia, birthing the name Takadokia. Takadokia became a sultanate, with Beer instated as the sultan.
United Bedrocco States
Takadokia was soon incorporated as one of the member towns of the United Bedrocco States (UBS). The UBS was a state part of the Bedrocco Empire, consisting of three cities; Takadokia, Sand Island and Cascadia Wood.
Tensions were rising between the sister towns of Takadokia and Sand Island; at the time, the two were in constant argument on the topic of newcomer residents. This meant that, whenever a new player joined the server, both HY and Pretzel would attempt to get the player to join their town and not the other.
Thus, the United Bedrocco States (‘’UBS’’, initially named the United Kingdom) was created as a compromise. The two would be part of the same entity, which itself would be part of the Bedrocco Empire. This would not only quell the conflict between the towns, but also allowed them to combine their total population. Cascadia Wood would later join the union as its third member state.
Full Independence from Bedrocco
After a few months of being under the UBS, HY had enough of foreign rule as a whole. After five months of Bedroccan rule, Takadokia officially left the UBS and the Bedrocco Empire, becoming fully independent. After this, not much changed. HY toyed around with the idea of having a new system of government, but eventually just decided to scrap the geopolitics and make it a regular town.
Intertakadokia
Intertakadokia was a confederation, which united all the cities HY owned. This included the likes of Outherland, Selverland, Summittown and, of course, Takadokia. It was quietly abolished, having no reason to exist.
Renovations
In December 2020, HY decided that the towns of Takadokia had to go, leaving only the districts. His reasoning was that the towns were too small. And so, he, with the help of Lole (who had just come back), got rid of the town borders, leaving only the districts. The districts were not to be removed, only the towns.
Motivated, HY started renovating old places and buildings all around Takadokia. These renovations initially started with the creation of the East Midlake Museum, a museum containing Takadokia's earliest builds, built around the East Midlake Lighthouse and Rest-Base (latter of which is the first building in Takadokia).
Next, he moved on to the district of Asariguene, where he redid the Nexus link and the governor's office. Wooden roads were added for convenience in almost all Takadokian Islands. The organisation of districts changed as the Free State of Loletown and Sardinian Eden were combined into Old Loletown, and the central districts of Takadokia were combined into the district of Velazzo. There were also some other minor changes that were made to clean up the town in general.
Around this time, the expansion of Takadokia ceased, and HY focused on populating the town.
