The Great Snowdonia Connection
On 14th April 2025, Lukemaster60, BuffaloBom and Toeaah, contributed and built the cobble path of the road, 4 blocks wide.
Next plans for this project was to design the bridge, and construct the outer frame of the bridge, then include rails (powered) and connect this road to FRS.
The original planned design was a long bridge with tall wooden beams holding 2 wooden cables holding the bridge. Many beams were already built when Toeaah decided to do a complete redesign of the bridgedesign. He replaced the wooden structure with a more denser, "castle-ish" stonebrick structure. The road also got a stone redesign matching the towers and the wooden cables got replaced with 3 times the amount of cables holding the bridge. Lukemaster60 approved Toeaah's design they started rebuilding.
After finishing half the bridge Lukemaster06 got the proposal to connect a second bridge to the great snowdonia connection to connect a nearby mushroom island to land on the other side of the bridge. To make this idea possible Toeaah started the construction of a intersection in the middle of the bridge to connect bridges with different structures. This intersection was planned to be its own litle town in the future and also function as a boat elevator for a potential ice road in the bridge.
Today the bridge is still under construction reasons beeing the unfinished intersection and cables.
