The Mojang Rebellion was a brief trolling event on Minecraft Online in which three players joined the server using deliberately provocative usernames and claimed to be “rebelling” against Mojang. The incident is generally regarded as a joke rather than a serious protest.

Overview
The event began when three accounts with shock-value usernames entered the server and announced a supposed rebellion against Mojang. No clear objectives, organization, or coordination existed, and the activity was largely performative.
Players Involved
The following usernames were associated with the event:
- HitlerAnalSex
- MojangSex
- MojangHitlerSex
The usernames were intentionally offensive and were primarily used to provoke reactions and humor within the server. These accounts were later to be found alternate accounts of Yzedeka another player.
Events
After joining, the 3 players made claims of Mojang not caring enough for the player base through chat messages. The situation quickly became a running joke among online players. The activity remained confined to chat and social interaction, with no significant disruption to the server.
Staff and Community Response
Server staff did not take formal moderation action. Several staff members acknowledged the event in chat and participated in the humor, treating the so-called “rebellion” as a joke rather than a rule-breaking incident.
Aftermath
The Mojang Rebellion ended naturally as player interest faded.
