While the Freedonia map was migrating to long-awaited 1.12.2, the world was replaced with a temporary map, initially disguised as an April Fools joke. Players were able to connect to the MinecraftOnline server address to play on this world for a time. The temporary map was reset twice due to various problems with the original worlds.

The Rules

Even though grief was permitted, the server still had some rules to maintain the playability. Bans were not appealable.

1. Don't Spam.

2. Don't Cheat.

3. Don't Spawnkill. (repeatedly killing a player at Spawn)

Map 1

In the original map, lasting from the 1st to the 2nd of April, players was spawned into a jungle biome, with everyone doing their best to play normal survival, until the spawn moved to a platform over the ocean several thousand blocks away. Staff with OP powers began spawning bedrock, explosions, and all manner of endgame and illegal items, like Elytra and knockback sticks.

The new spawn eventually deteriorated from constant nukes spawned in by admins, becoming a huge hole. Despite this, some civilizations such as Yasnevo managed to survive.

Amidst the chaos was much fun, but also much discontent, which led to the map being reset to enable a more survival feel.

Map 2

This map only lasted for about 5 minutes due to the seed, which spawned the players at an island in the middle of the ocean.

Map 3

Replacement for Map 2. This time the seed was much better, and was the last map. Multiple settlements were founded, most close to the spawn, such as Farmdonia and Vietnam.
