Boat Skiing is like regular skiing, only difference being that it's done on boats with ice tracks that go down hills!
Information
Setup
Boat skiing requires a couple of things. Boats, a ski lift, and a hill. Anybody can make a boat ski hill if they read these guidelines!
Ski hills can be any hill anywhere, the hill must be over 5 meters tall from base to summit. A hill is required since boat skiing is a downhill sport. If your hill is flat then it's not boat skiing, it is an iceboat track which is apart of an entirely different sport.
The ski run is a minimum 2-3 block wide ice path, the path can bend, dip, and move as it goes down the mountain to create either more difficult or dangerous ski run. Any ice type works, feel free to experiment with different types!
Ski lifts must be based off real life ones or resemble them in some form. There are multiple websites such as Liftblog, Dopplemayr, and Skiresort-Info where you can research lifts and find inspirations. Ski lifts must have a minimum of two stations and a lift tower as decoration or to hold up the track. Some ski lifts on the server use minecarts to be functional.
Run Types (in order of difficulty)
Green Runs
Green runs are your beginner slopes, every hill usually has one or two of them. Tend to not be steep and relatively straightforward. 5-4 meters wide usually.
Blue Runs
Blue runs are intermediate slopes, 4-3 meters wide and have some tight curves. May also be steeper then green runs.
Black Runs
Black runs are advanced slopes, may be 3-2 meters wide, very steep or have some crazy curves and blind spots.
