Dogtown
Dog Town is a district that was once intended to be the heart of Westedge's business and financial life. Luxury skyscrapers, shopping malls, offices of major corporations, and elite residential neighborhoods were planned here. However, the ambitious dreams of prosperity turned to tragedy.
It all started with the economic crisis, because of which construction was suspended. The unfinished buildings became a haven for refugees and marginalized sections of society. Later, in the chaos of the civil war, the district became the center of fierce fighting between rebels and federal forces. The rebel victory marked the end of the authorities' control over the district, and it soon descended into anarchy.
In order to isolate Dog Town, the federal government erected a massive wall around the district, cutting it off from the rest of Westedge. Officially, the district was declared a high-risk zone, and unofficially, it was forgotten. Now poverty, hunger, and lawlessness reign. Scattered groups control the streets, dividing the territory among themselves, and ordinary residents are forced to survive amidst the devastation.
Despite this, life goes on in Dogtown. On the narrow dark streets you can hear the sounds of music and children's laughter, see rock paintings and primitive markets. The city has become a microcosm of culture, despair and hope.
Dog Town is a place that frightens and attracts at the same time. Anyone who ventures beyond its walls will find their destiny there - be it death, riches or new life.
