Roles
Emperor (leader), the highest position in the Duranian Empire. Rules over everyone .
Empire staff, the second highest position in the hierarchy, consists of very trusted members of the Duranian Empire. Get perms and privileges to most of the things in the whole empire and it's states.
State governor, the third highest position in the hierarchy. They rule a state given by the leader.
Ambassador, they aren't (in most cases) a member of any state/town and don't have any perms in the empire itself. They have built an embassy for their representing settlement.
Town staff, a sub-category of the ordinary citizen, they have perms to their representing town and are allowed to edit or give out land on their own behalf.
Ordinary citizen, they are a member of atleast one of the states/town. They are the lowest role in the meritocracy, altough they get more privileges than the ambassadors.
Ally, they are a leader of an allied town.
