Craftbook Page

This Craftbook mechanism triggers levers and presses buttons when the player right-clicks a block.

The most common usage is to place the sign on a block, with a button or lever behind the block on the side of the sign. Right-clicking the block will press the button as if pressed by a player, or will toggle the lever.

Details

The sign must have the following:

Second line
[X]

Input

The switch is toggled by interacting with (right-clicking) any block adjacent to the sign, including above and below. The face of the block being interacted with must not be the side of the block where the sign is. For example, for the block above the sign, the bottom face will not work.

All blocks can be used as input as long as they have an interaction box. (Air or fluids do not work.) This includes buttons, levers and signs themselves.

Output

All levers adjacent to the sign will be toggled, and all buttons adjacent to the sign will be pressed. This includes levers and buttons above and below the sign.

Exceptions:

  • If the IC is triggered by interacting with a lever adjacent to the sign, that lever will not be toggled by the IC. (It is toggled only once due to the player toggling it.)
  • Buttons adjacent to the sign that are already powered when the IC is triggered, will not be pressed again. (Their powered status will also not be prolonged by the IC.)
