Lonarium is a large building built by Lone_Starrr, consisting entirely of a single circular room repeated many times over. It can be reached by Nexus orange 3 hub and walking southeast following the granite road there for a little while.
Each room in the building has 4 staircases. The rooms are rotated relatively to each other, creating very long twisting stair cases going in all directions, including up/down. Each room uses several different building materials which makes it a somewhat challenging structure to build in a short amount of time.
Lonarium is one of several builds dedicated to a higher form of being referred to as Lonari, bringer of fortune and wealth. It is said that ancient civilizations thrived very well under Lonari's presence. Many have since attempted to lure Lonari back by reconstructing builds found around the oldest known site west of Nexus pink 1 border hub, centered in what looks like decayed remains of a giant sphere. All of these builds share a few traits: They consist of circular(ish) rooms that interconnect with staircases in all four cardinal directions. The more builds like this exist in the world praising Lonari, the higher the chance He will grace us with His presence and bring good fortune to all who participate.
Most materials required are provided by farms Lone_Starrr created, as well as public farms such as the various stone types from Newport's farms.
History
- April 13 2023: Construction began, a few rooms every now and then over the following two years
- July 2025: About 200 rooms have been built, in a 6x5 (X,Z) pattern
- August 31st 2025: Exactly 400 rooms were built in a 6x5 pattern, with each column reaching maximum build height
- October 3rd 2025: The building's been extended to 6x6 columns to make it symmetrical. Each column now has 15 completed rooms, giving it a grand total of 540 rooms
- October 9th 2025: A mini version (dubbed "Temu Lonarium"), also built by Lone_Starrr, can be found in the city of Kyron
- November 2025: A mysterious orb-shaped ancient structure was discovered west of the Nexus pink 1 border hub, with a giant version of the one room in its center
