MC1020 is a Craftbook IC that randomly activates a number of output terminals when triggered by an input.
Due to this IC only having a single output, the effective output terminal range is limited from 0 to 1.
This variant will only update when activated. The self-triggering variant is MC0020.

- Third Line
(MinOutputs:(MaxOutputs))- (MinOutputsoptional; defaults to 0), (MaxOutputsoptional; defaults to 1)MinOutputsspecifies the minimum number of output terminals that will be activated.MaxOutputsspecifies the maximum number of output terminals that will be activated.- Both values must be whole integers between 0 and the number of available output terminals.
MinOutputscannot exceedMaxOutputs.
When triggered by an input, the IC randomly determines how many output terminals to activate, selecting a number between MinOutputs and MaxOutputs (inclusive).
The selected number of outputs will then be randomly distributed among the available output terminals. All remaining output terminals will be deactivated.
If only one value is provided on the third line, it will be interpreted as MaxOutputs, with MinOutputs defaulting to 0.
The range of MaxOutputs and MinOutputs is 0 to 1 for this specific IC, due to only having one available output terminal. While not particularly useful for this IC, as well as it's sister IC MC0020, this is the same implementation used in the other random bit ICs like MC2020 and MC6020, of which have multiple output terminals available.
Examples
Basic setup
line1: line2: [MC1020] line3: line4:
Randomly activates any number of output terminals, from none to all available outputs.
Maximum outputs setup
line1: line2: [MC1020] line3: 1 line4:
Randomly activates between 0 and 1 output terminals (effectively the same as the basic setup).
If 0 is used instead, no output can be given and it will be stuck on low output.
Minimum and maximum outputs setup
line1: line2: [MC1020] line3: 0:1 line4:
Randomly activates between 0 and 1 output terminals (again, effectively the same as the basic setup).
If 0:0 is used instead, no output can be given and it will be stuck on low output.
If 1:1 is used instead, the output will get stuck on high.
