MC1203 is a Craftbook IC that creates lightning strikes within a specified area when triggered by an input.
This IC's 3rd line is extremely buggy and partially non-functional in 1.12.2 and will be rewritten. Below is the intended functionality
Details
- Second Line
- [MC1203]
- Third Line
((Radius)=xOffset,yOffset,yOffset)Radiusoptional; defaults to 1.xOffset, yOffset, and zOffsetoptional; defaults to 0 for each one.
Radiusspecifies the spherical radius of the area the lightning can strike.Radiusneeds to be a whole integer value, representing the number of blocks away from the area's center.xOffset, yOffset, and zOffseteach correspond to a block offset from the block behind the IC sign, each needing to be an integer.
- Fourth Line
Chance- The chance of lightning striking each eligible block, out of 100 (optional; defaults to 100).
When triggered by an input, the IC checks the blocks within the specified area. For each non-air block, it independently determines whether to create a lightning strike based on the specified chance.
Lightning strikes are created at the positions of blocks where the chance succeeds.
The radius determines the size of the area checked around the center, with separate values for each axis. If no radius is specified, the IC uses a default radius of 1 along each axis.
Examples
Basic setup
line1: line2: [MC1203] line3: line4:
Creates lightning strikes around the block behind the IC, using the default radius and chance.
Specific radius setup
line1: line2: [MC1203] line3: 10 line4:
Creates lightning strikes within an area specified by a radius of 10 blocks.
Specific chance setup
line1: line2: [MC1203] line3: line4: 25
Gives each eligible block a 25% chance of producing a lightning strike when the IC is triggered.
Combined setup
line1: line2: [MC1203] line3: 4=3,3,3 line4: 50
Checks the specified area with radius of 4 blocks and the center being offset in the positive direct for each corresponding offset value (3 blocks each direction). It will give each non-air block a 50% chance of producing a lightning strike.
