McMMO Brainrot is the most common cause of bans since 2019 due to the massive success of Hypixel Skyblock. On 99% of survival servers, the plugin mcMMO is used. Whilst it isn't McMMO giving players brainrot, pretty much all other survival servers have alot of plugins that mcMMO became an umbrella term for a survival server with similar features to Hypixel Skyblock. Because most servers have the same plugins, newbies expect the server to have land claiming, causing alot of grief. The noob then explains that they did nothing wrong because "they forgot to claim their land". After that they get banned.
