The Modstick was a common tool used by Mods and Admins that enabled the user to delete blocks instantly. It has been replaced since the 1.12 update with the GriefAlert Tool.

It was, for staff members, any ordinary stick, and could formerly be summoned using /kit modkit. It was a frequent target of rage as staff members with a stick in their hand would often accidentally delete other blocks, especially chests, which oftentimes were a pain to clean up as their contents would spill on the floor when deleted.
