Unlike other abandoned Nexus Branches, HF-nex-v1, colloquially named Nexus Brown, is an experimental version of current and past Nexus Branches in use. This Nexus is said to have a smaller footprint, better energy efficiency, increased safety, and even inter-dimensional travel. It was rumored that this design eliminated the nuisance of botching teleports, having players spawn half stuck in the ground. To this day, Nexus Brown has not been discovered, and conspiracy theories run rampant about what dimension it could have possibly been in, or if the Admins had discovered it, destroyed it, and made it appear as if the impact of the destruction was an accident.
It is told that the Research and Development Department in the Heruvian Federation was commissioned to upgrade the existing Nexus System. The project, code named HF-nex-v1, was initiated to further improve the public transport throughout Freedonia and within the Heruvian Federation. Engineers, architects, and builders of the project traveled far and wide to examine different designs of the nexus system, with records recounting travel to Nether and even End dimension Nexus branches to calculate inter-dimensional Nexus travel. However, nearly all schematics, blueprints, and designs were destroyed with the fall of Shambhalla, with only limited and incomplete records remaining in safe houses across Freedonia. With nearly every instruction on how to construct a nexus from scratch destroyed, engineers and scientists had to think outside of the box. The nexuses were revisited, but this time many had their essential parts stripped for reverse engineering. As an unfortunate consequence, nearly all nether and end hubs lost their teleportation abilities and many overworld hubs experienced a drastic cut in range and versatility. Over time, a working nexus was constructed from these parts and was improved upon. This Nexus, nicknamed "Nexus Brown", was kept under tight wraps fearing that a private organization with the means to construct a working Nexus would attract unwanted and unnecessary attention to the project.
It is said that every time Nexus Brown is activated and tested, an indescribable sound can be heard roaring throughout the server in every dimension.
