Project Line is a fan-made urban megacity currently under construction in Minecraft Online, inspired by the real-world vision of Saudi Arabia’s The Line.

The goal? To recreate and reimagine a futuristic, linear city—but built entirely within the world of blocks.

Unlike traditional Minecraft builds that are typically square or circular, Project Line is being designed as a long, narrow corridor city that could span anywhere from 2,000 to over 5,000 blocks in length.

Its unique layout challenges the norms of city building in Minecraft, pushing the boundaries of creativity and scale. After months of planning, designing, and non-stop block placing, Project Line is now in its final phase.

Right now, the project is being built by just two players—a small team with a big vision. Despite the scale, they’ve already made impressive progress, and the city is currently on track to be completed around June.
