My position on bans is an odd one, to say the least.
On ban lengths
Ban lengths should me modified.
Griefing
20 month ban.
Spamming
MCO is one of the very few servers to ban players for spamming. Rather, a 69-day mute would be better. The reason it's 69 is because its a funny number.
Cheating
30 month ban.
Rework to ban system
Banned players should still be able to join the server. BUT:
- They can't interact with the server.
- Chat is half disabled - only admins can see the messages sent.
- Serious offenders and world-downloaders will still get the old ban system.
Changes to rules
- Fullbright is no longer considered cheating, like most other servers.
- Add a 4th rule: No bugging. This means people trying to destroy the server. 40 month ban.
