What is sendIT?
sendIT is a climbing gym in the City of Sumer built by UndullingBlade and tested by mods who came to see why he was repeatedly breaking so many man-made blocks and signs during the route-setting phase of construction. The gym is inspired by UndullingBlade's love of bouldering and deep water soloing and is modeled after the gym he frequents in real life.
How do I climb?
Getting started is easy! All the routes are ranked under the V system (bouldering rank) where easier climbs have lower numbers and higher numbers introduce more techniques. To start a climb simply find the sign with the climb's rank and the word "Start" on it. The closest 'hold' (typically a ladder) to that sign will be the start hold. From there, climb and 'dyno' (leaping between holds with no contact points) to other holds in the climb until you reach either the top of the island, or the hold labeled "Finish".
What is Psicobloc?
Psicobloc is form of artificial climbing in which the climber uses no ropes or crash-pads/mats to soften or prevent injury, but rather the climbing is done above a man-made pool. This is not to be confused with deep water solo climbing where the climber is on natural rock formations over naturally occurring water.
