Introduction:
The Temple of Ajzicast was built by AJzzix as a monument to the skin he uses, a deity named Ajzicast. The temple is comprised of mainly stone-type blocks, as well as a variety of wood types on the interior of the build. This also happens to be AJzzix's first megabase ever constructed in survival Minecraft.
This temple is surrounded by a range of custom-built mountains, and is sat within a custom mushroom biome filled with hand-crafted vegetation. Explore this vibrant landscape to find hidden secrets and areas tucked away.
Layout:
The exterior of the temple will resemble some kind of step-pyramid, seemingly made of increasingly smaller slabs centered on one another. Aligned in the middle of each section's sides will be stairs leading up to the other segments as well as two sets of iron doors on either side of each staircase leading to the interior. These will lead to hallways converging on a center spiral stairway, while dividing each segment up into different floors.
Each floor will have different areas and access points to explore. As of now this monument contains a kitchen, library, theater, bar, a parkour course (located at the bottom of the stairwell) and so much more. This base allows for hours of exploration and is filled with world-building elements, as well as AJzzix's personal collection of MCO artifacts, all of which are displayed in secure protective glass cases.
History:
After coming to MCO from the anarchy server 2b2t and founding 5k, AJzzix desired a place he could build without fear of running into the already-altered landscape that plagued MCO's mainland. After hours of searching on the minimap, he found somewhere that was void of any player activity, and began packing his valuables and building materials in shulkers. He then made the decision to abandon 5k for a place he'd never been, leaving his home behind forever.
When AJ arrived, he began by marking out the land, flattening it and starting construction of his new megabase. However, due to an inexperience building on that scale and burnout due to the repetitiveness of the build, AJzzix gradually gave up on it, and stopped the build in favor of working on other projects. But after coming back to MCO from his half-year break, AJ found that the area he called home had seen quite a bit while he was away. A whole city was born and had died right on his doorstep, and player activity littered around his base, halting any chance of expansion. Although AJzzix had always wanted to be part of a growing community, this was too much.
So, in an act to protect what was his, he began ferociously working on the base again. His newfound building and detailing experience helped reignite his love for the project, and he began construction of a mountain range to halt any further advances onto his land, and to allow for him time to perfect his terraforming vision within it's comforting walls.
AJzzix hopes to finish this base by the end of 2025, and greatly enjoys visitors to his base. So what are you waiting for? Come check it out!
Fun Facts:
- This base design was originally supposed to be used as a group base on 2b2t for PVPer's Elite but was scrapped due to declining interest in the server.
- The inside of the base was originally supposed to be COMPLETLY OPEN before they were separated into sections for maximum efficiency.
- This temple was originally called "Haven III", but was changed due to another base having taken the name "Haven" beforehand (changed to avoid confusion).
