Toran Castle is a mostly accurate replica of the JRPG Suikoden's hub world of the same name. It is comprised of a main tower, west tower, south tower, southeast tower, and a visitors center separate from the build. There are 107 statue replicas of every character in the castle and their dialogue.
Lore
Toran Castle
The game Suikoden takes place during the Toran Liberation War, in which the Liberation Army forms to fight against the Scarlet Moon Empire. In need of a base of operations, Mathiu Silverberg, the Liberation Army's new strategist, suggested Toran Castle, a naval base for the Scarlet Moon Empire that was abandoned after the construction of a superior fortress. During its abandonment, many pirate groups tried to take the castle for themselves. To solve this problem, Imperial Admiral Sonya Shulen summoned a zombie dragon to ward off intruders. The Liberation Army's new leader, Tir McDohl, traveled to Toran Castle, defeated the dragon, and took the castle for the Liberation Army, where it served as their headquarters
108 Stars of Destiny
In the Suikoden games, there are 107 recruitable characters. Some automatically join as part of the story, many don't. And each character has either a purpose at your headquarters and/or can be put in your party to take into combat. The lore behind this is that when conflict arises, the Tablet of Stars activates, and Tenkai Star gathers the rest of the 108 Stars of Destiny, and they help him in his struggle with fate.
