This public Cactus farm was built by abamacus in October, 2022. At full TPS, it should generate almost 2 Cactus per second, using 2,028 Cactus.
Construction
The base is a circle at the bottom layer of the End, made of Black Concrete at Y=0 covered in Sand, Glowstone, and Lime Concrete Powder at Y=1. The cactus shape is a shell of Lime and Green Stained Glass, with spikes of Black Stained Glass Pane. The interior is layers of Cactus, above Sand, above String, above Air, all placed in a checkerboard pattern so that any Cactus growth will immediately break. A combination of CraftBook mechanisms directs all Cactus to Chests at the surface, where they can be taken by any player.

Cactus entities are picked by by 28 MCZ203 Chest Collector, 7 on each of the four sides, placing them into one of three Chests in the center column of the build. These entities are piped up into user-collection area with 3 MCX202 Dispenser, with one final MCZ203 Chest Collector at the top to place Cactus into any of 8 Double Chests on the surface. If all chests become full, excess cactus will be destroyed, using one MCX203 Chest Collector to direct them to a separate chest, and one MCX202 Dispenser to place them directly above Lava. Each of the MCX signs are activated by MC0111 Wireless Receiver, tied to MC1110 Wireless Transmitter, which is activated by a single MC0420 Clock.
