Canàlbrèagha, (Kah-nul-bree-uh), is a town founded by Daata as a gateway to the seas of the northeast. The town was concieved during the colonialist era of Daata, and its comprised of simple structures and palletes. The main town area is ajacent to a swamp and Cnoc Chibhal Hill. A canal separates the main district from the rest of the town and is used for ease of boat navigation as part of the Anticosti Route. The rest of the town expands onto the hill and surrounding plains.
