Cartaya is a small island settlement located in the far-southern sea. It was founded by AleztheTarget sometime in late May of 2024. The settlement consists of one non-affiliated cobblestone noob hut at the centre of the island, and a long, wooden platform with the function of acting as a dock-village. The island has no trees in the south, but has a mini-forest in the north. The density of said mini-forest, and the presence of ungrown oak saplings, seems to suggest that these trees were, at least partially, player-planted. The presence of stone and sandstone blocks near the platform seems to suggest that some mild terraformation has occurred, prior to construction.
There is an ocean monument located roughly 100 meters north of Cartaya.
The village is public access and accepts any further expansion of the wooden platform with the help and supervision of AleztheTarget.
