Dank Town is a small, uninhabited, village at the southern edge of the map. The town has a number of services, supplies and attractions for wayward travelers.
General Information
DankShank began construction on Dank Town on October 8th of 2017.
There are no convenient roadways or paths leading to the peninsula. The wild and dangerous forests bordering town give no indication of the quaint lives lived by those on the edge of the new world. This largely virgin area has ample room for modest homes and businesses. Dank Town's distance from Nexus points does make it appealing for those who desire a home well away from day to day traffic. Even if the population of town were to grow; major connections to transportation are not likely to be accepted by the local populace.
Dank Town is rather peaceful, but the residents are weary of strangers and caution should be exercised. Almost all buildings, plants, and animals are accessible to the public; with supplies necessary for their efficient harvest readily available.
Services
Enchanting: There is an upgraded enchanting table on the first floor of the Dank Tower.
Experience: An efficient mob spawner for farming XP. This spawner is not currently accessible to the public, but may be open to anyone who requests it.
Repairs: The local forge features an anvil and furnaces for smelting and repairs.
Animals: Farm animals are no longer maintained, and roam free throughout town and the ocean.
Crops: Spacious farm lands with a large variety of crops.
Attractions
The Dank Tower is a cobblestone tower with spiral staircase that reaches the upper limit of what is possible in Freedonia. There is a lift to the top, but you can climb the 200 flights of stairs. The lack of local entertainment makes this worth a visit if you're in the area.
The ground floor features an enchantment table bolstered by bookshelves.
The basic structure was completed in October of 2018, shortly after DankShank lost height restrictions.
