Dernic is a language that is used in Kanal Town during events related to the cities lore (such as the 2 poem hunts [2023] and the empress hunt [2024]).
The language was first successfully translated by 
AMinecraftCow who used it to win the first poem hunt.
Signs containing the Dernic Language can be found all over Kanal Town, Chilliwack, Maple Ridge, and within Empresses Tomb.
